La Quinta is the second feature film by Avelina Prat as a director after Vasil. Starring Manolo Solo, Portuguese actress María de Medeiros, and Serbian Branka Katić, it tells the story of a man who decides to escape his old life and build a new house in another country with a new identity.

Filmed between different locations in Barcelona and the Quinta da Aldeia, a veritable Portuguese country house in the town of Ponte de Lima, La Quinta is produced by Distinto Films and the Portuguese production company O Som e a Fúria, with the Valencian production company Jaibo Films and Almendros Blancos AIE.
