La Pobla de Segur is formed by a small town and the villages of Sant Joan de Vinyafrescal, Puimanyons and Montsor.

Enjoying a mild climate thanks to its superb strategic position between the confluence of the Noguera Pallaresa and Flamisell rivers, La Pobla de Segur is considered “the gateway to the Pyrenees”. Moreover, the municipality is surrounded by many water bodies, creating a scenery of bridges and riversides of enormous potential and interest for audiovisual projects.

Situated in a typical Pre-Pyrenean and Pyrenean landscape, La Pobla de Segur also contains several examples of Romanesque architecture, as well as mansions and former factories built in the Modernista style, an old flour mill, municipal parks and gardens and an old walled medieval centre with two typical entrances through arches below houses.
